Hi friends! We are working on some very fun Valentine’s ideas to share soon, but I just wanted to pop in today and let you know that our favorite Cuatro Platters are on sale right now over at CB2.com. We have rarely seen these on sale so let’s hope they’re not going to discontinue them… that would be a sad day. You might remember seeing these platters used here or here or here.
First off I want to mention that I’m guest posting today over at the SNAP Blog, and if you’re a blogger, you’ll definitely want to read my post.
Okay, now this story begins back at Mother’s Day, when our friend Dr. Debbie got the sweetest Mother’s Day gift — a shaved ice machine. We’re not talking about a little, hand-crank, snow cone maker, but a totally legit, industrial-size ice shaver. To a pregnant lady craving snow cones daily, I was immediately struck with envy. So I did what I always do when I want something — I searched for it on Amazon.com. Amazon sells EVERYTHING right? Right!
Well it seems a shame to keep such a good thing to ourselves, so last Saturday we invited all our family and friends over for a Shave Ice Party! I had a lot of fun creating a few details to make the party special. Naturally we’d need to tape up in our kitchen a big menu poster showing all the shaved ice flavors available. I printed it as a 24×36-inch, large-format, black-and-white engineering print at Staples for just a few dollars.
Today is another Printable Blog Hop! Just in time for the Fourth of July, today’s blog hop includes 12 fun Patriotic printables from our blogger friends.
First off, how cute is Miss Modette wearing our free printable Statue of Liberty Crown? This has to be one of the coolest printables we’ve offered in a while. I know all my kiddos will love wearing these to go watch the fireworks on July 4th. Since it turned out so neat we decided to also include a sheet of extra extension bands so the crown can be sized for adults (you know, because I want to wear it too!)
Any other Moms out there looking forward to Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiering this week?!? Bettijo and I are excited to catch the Thursday night show with 25 of our closest girlfriends! (And yes, I’m still planning to make my 5:30 am CrossFit workout the next morning!)
Anyway, I threw together a couple last-minute printables a few friends and I are using to make simple goodie bags for our group.
