Make "Smart Cookies" to Celebrate the First Day of School on PagingSupermom.com #backtoschool

Hi there! It’s Kendra from My Insanity, and I’m excited to tell you about a Supermom Moment that I had the other day — I am here today to share an idea for how to welcome your kids home on the first day of school! I am a big fan of the Supermoms, and had so much fun with them at SNAP Conference this year, judging the door decorating contest together!

My kids have already gone back to school for the year. It came too soon, and I wasn’t quite ready for my summer-fun time with them to be over. Although, I will say that during the last week or two before school started as the contention increased, I was reminded of the blessings that come with having fewer bodies in the house for the better part of the day. Still, I want our home to be the place were they are excited to return at the end of each day, so I decided to do something special to welcome them home on that first day of school.

What could be more welcoming than freshly-baked cookies and milk for an after-school snack? How about their own GIANT, personalized freshly-baked cookie (and milk) with a handwritten card!

Congrats Graduate Fruit Roll-Up Treats for Preschool Graduation

So, in a mad rush of Supermomdom I threw together these mini fruit roll diplomas to coordinate with our school graduation party printables and graduate signs. The kids loved them — but more importantly, Liam was proud to pass them out.
