Army Birthday Boot Camp Party

We’ve seen that some people are interested in more BOY party ideas from us. Well we got right on it!

Boot Camp Party Camo Banner

Actually we already had this fun Birthday Boot Camp party in the works with one of our photographer buddies Erika (she took our About Us pics). She was planning a birthday party for her oldest son, and enlisted us to create the printable party collection.

Aimée and I had so many fun ideas — camouflage; patriotic red, white and blue; and lots of other military inspiration. I really love the Army Camouflage Boot Camp printable banner. Somehow it’s totally cute while at the same time being tough and no-nonsense — perfect for an 11-year-old boy.

BootCampPartyUncleSamInvitations

When we first talked with Erika she knew she wanted the famous Army Uncle Sam “I Want You” poster for the invite. Aimée created a convincing replica, don’t you think? We also created camo address wraps for the envelopes. (FYI: You can get this invite personalized for your own party in our Supermom Co-Op)

Boot Camp Mess Hall Food Table

Don’t you love that Erika served “Sloppy G.I. Joes” at the party? I also adore the pie-tin plates.

Army Boot Camp Ammo Box

Erika throws amazing parties and has great vintage style. We love all the details she pulled together like this fun ammo box that held the marshmallow “ammunition” for the PVC-pipe shooters she made for the boys.

Army Boot Camp Party True Mess Hall

This last photo is fun because you can see the true “mess” in their makeshift Mess Hall. Such a great party Erika — definitely a Supermom Moment!

Be sure to check out Erika’s blog where you can see the rest of her fun party pictures and get her instructions for making a fun, Boot Camp Obstacle Course.
