Okay, I am just so curious… I really want to know more about you! I’m guessing you’re an amazing Supermom with at least a child or two? But I want to know more…
I know I have some faithful friends reading (Thanks, Mom! Thanks, Katie! Hi Misty! Anyone else?) But please just leave a little comment below. Tell us anything: we want to hear it… how many kids do you have? How did you find our blog? What do you want to see more of on our blog? What’s your favorite food? Color?? What’s your weather like today? Do you wear a cape, too?
…And, yes. I am just kidding about the cape!
Hi my name is JP. I have 3 boys – 15yrs, 3 yrs, and 9 months and I’m a SAHM. I found out about you while watching Martha Stewart. I love all the practical, craft and party ideas you provide and the print outs that you create. What do I want to see more of? More boy themes (parties, crafts, etc), reviews on any products you love to use, and any heads up on craft deals. I love your blog!
Hi JP! Three boys? You’re definitely Supermom! ;) I certainly understand your desire for more boy ideas… we’ll see what we can do!
I’m a single mom to four kids, chase 8, nathan 7, samantha 6, and emma 3. No child support, no nannies, no bus for school, I’m doing it ALL, and I’m doing it on my own. I spend my days driving kids to and fro schools, cleaning, and teaching my children how to how to grow up to be the best person they could possibly be. It’s my job, as a parent, to make sure my children’s lives are at least 50% better than mine, and I have surpassed that :) I live for them, I sacrifice for them, I always do what’s in their best interest, and I love each one of them. And I’m proud to say they are all mine !!
Hi Tana! It’s so refreshing and motivating to hear you talk about your kids and your role as their Mom. I’m so glad you love doing what you do. I think being a Mom is the best job out there–and you’re doing great!
Hi, I’m Krissy! So nice to finally meet you. :)
I’ve been following on FB for awhile and I just finally added you to my RSS reader. I’m a former art teacher turned full time mama to 3 (ages 5, 3, and 7 weeks) and blogger at B.Inspired Mama. Your blog is such a wonderful example of success and inspiration for me!
Hi Krissy! I just checked out your blog–looks like you’re having a great time as a Mom! (And I have to say, I love your skeleton costumes–my husband and I dressed up as skeletons with our boys this past Halloween, too!) And welcome to your littlest one–7 weeks sounds so tiny and precious! Congrats!
Hey! Can’t remember how I found your blog, but your tag line hooked me. I am the mom of four boys, ages 3-13, and am also a full time graduate student. Love your printables, and I always marvel at your party ideas.
My favorite color is green, but lately I’ve taken to purple, which makes me wonder if I’m getting old.
Hi Jerilyn! Four boys and grad student? You’re definitely a Supermom! As far as the purple, don’t think of to as getting old–look at it as channeling your inner royalty. I mean, isn’t purple a royal color? ;)
–Aimee
My sis-in-law Natalie told me about your cute blog a while ago. Its so fun. I’m hooked on your lunchbox jokes.
We have 2 kids (10 and 6 – girl and boy) and live in Scottsdale.
Hi Sarah!
We’re so glad you like our lunchbox joke printables–watch for the St. Patrick’s Day version to be posting soon! With your two kids grade school age, I hope they get some good giggles out of them! Thanks for introducing yourself!
–Aimee
I’m Jennifer from upstate New York. I am mommy to a 4 month old baby boy and aspiring party planner. I can’t remember exactly what brought me to your blog but I love you style and ideas and find it all to be incredibly inspiring!
Hi Jenny!
It’s nice to meet you! Congratulations on your little boy–4 months old is such a precious age! Thank you for your kind words about our blog. We wish you the best of luck with your party planning, and we hope you’ll share your party photos with us!
–Aimee
Wow! I’m really loving reading the little bits about all of you. Sounds like you are all total Supermoms! XOXO
Keep the introductions coming!! –bettijo
Hello from Northern CA! I found your blog when you were on Martha and used many of your Rapunzel ideas for my daughter’s bday party.
Love your style, homemade gift ideas, free printables and love of Halloween.
I have 3 kids (11, 9, 6), teach high school English, and coach a dance team. I was inspired to name our race for the cure team the Susanville Super Ta-tas because of your blog.
I first heard of Supermom on the Martha Stewart show just over a year ago when Bettijo appeared for the Dreamers and Doers event. My friend was there for that event and was in the audience for the taping, so I tuned in. I saw Bettijo stump Martha on the pronunciation of her name and the cute Rapunzel birthday invitation. I checked out y’all’s site for that birthday theme and have been hooked since that time. I love the worksheets and the simple yet clever crafts.
I live in the DFW area, but originally from Louisiana. The weather here—well, tomorrow it will be in the 80’s, drop 20 degrees for Friday. Last February, the snow almost ruined the Super Bowl. This past summer, the heat was pretty much over 110 every day. Not sure what the Spring/Summer has in store for us since we have not experienced a winter yet. And I never expected the DFW area to be so windy.
I have a daughter who is almost 5. That milestone has taken over our household. :-)
Love your blog.
The printables are my fav. I also love the cute tips you get from other moms that you share.
Such a great positive place for creative ways to make being a mom more fun. Even though it mostly is with a little messy and crabby mixed in sometimes.
Thanks!
Tatum
Hi Girls!! My name is Jill and I have two girls Ella (5 1/2 and Ryen (3 1/2). I author a blog called The Adventures of Super Mom where I chronicle our daily lives with the intent of having it printed as a book for them. A keepsake of my days staying home and raising them before they go off to school :) So of course when I hear about your site, I had to follow it! xo
Whoops I should say, I am originally from the East Coast (Boston, MA) but have been living in Arizona for almost 8 years. My husband and I have been married for 7. I spend my days working out, running a household and busy social calendar, and all the other thankless daily Mom activities. I get paid in hugs and kisses that are worth more than any amount of money out there (well almost ;) ha ha. I am an amateur photographer and party planner also :)
I stumbled upon y’all when I Googled “Tangled Party”. I have 2 girls. Lizzy is 3 and Ellie is 1. Their combined party last October was a smashing success largely due to this blog and I’m super grateful you were willing to share your should-be-trademarked ideas. We live in Deer Park, TX (just outside Houston) and my husband recently left the Marine Corps. When I’m not a mommy, I’m an accountant, small business co-owner, church nursery director and crocheter. Love the blog and crafty ideas!
Why are you joking about the cape, I’m a work at home mom so I totally wear one everyday, I even sleep in it. It is sparkling PINK with a touch of pink, pink trim and, oh yeah… some more PINK. So I guess you can tell I have girls… 3 of them. Grew up in a house of boys, 5 brothers and I was the only girl, so I couldn’t be happier with girls. They are 16 1/2, 6 and 4 1/2. I am a graphic designer, love scrapbooking and photography and snuggling with my kids. I also stumbled upon you when googling tangled party (our party was a hit). And there you were paging me. :)- love to see craft and art ideas for the kids.
I saw you on Martha for the Rapunzel Party. I have 5 children and almost 4 grandchildren. Still raising a teenager too! I use many of your ideas for family get togethers and grandchildren. Thanks! Keep up the good work. (Plus my mom thinks she knows Aimee from church???)
I found your blog while searching last January for a Tangled birthday party and yours was the ONLY one out there! (My daughter LOVED her party btw) after seeing your cute blog I had to keep following it! I’m a SAHM of 2 {going on 3} daughters, so I LOVE all the girly stuff. I’m an AZ gal but now live in NM. I love your blog for it’s fun activities, printable’s, banners, etc…and my 4 year old thanks you for them as well. :)
As an old co-worker of Bettijo’s in the DC area, I’ve followed her blog from the beginning and continue to be impressed with her and Aimee’s creativity! I’ve gotten lots of great ideas for decorating and things to do with my 3-year old son from this blog and look forward to using some of the more “girlie” ideas when my new daughter arrives in May!
I found this blog for the first time searching for party ideas last May for my 4 year old boy/girl twins. We were having a Rapunzel and Pirates party. Found the best ideas and kept coming back for more!!!
We have been living in AZ for almost 3 years now. Moved from St. Louis, MO, though I am a born and raised So Cal girl. I love the sun, family, good friends, Wicked!!, movies (best at ipic), travel, and almost anything Disney!
I love this blog and it’s the only one I have liked enough to follow. Thanks for the many ideas and making my life easy. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more party ideas for my twins 5th Birthday this May!!
Hi!
I found your site a few months ago when I started planning Valentines for my Daughter. I have a Daughter that will be 5 in March and a Son that will be 2 in March. I love your ideas you post!
Howdy! Bettijo’s brother is my brother-in-law/ college buddy and he introduced me to the site. I have a 1 year old daughter and I love to look at the site for pretty inspiration and ideas.
I am a SAHM of a 5yo boy and almost 3yo girl in Kentucky. I am not sure how I found your blog the first time maybe a year ago, but I think one of your projects was linked from another craft blog. I ended up bookmarking it and head here from time to time. Love all your great ideas, especially the party and holiday projects. :)
Hi Amiee and Betijo! I am Nancy, I am a mother of four small children, two in school and two at home. We keep super busy. But, I jump on your sight at least twice a week. I love all the cute stuff you gals do. You both inspire me. I live just across the freeway from you, Amiee and I have to put in a plug for swim lessons as I as an instructor and coach. (since I just read your lastest post) It’s a lifelong sport that they won’t be sorry they stuck with, even if you have to go to just summers. :)
Hi there. I found your blog through a Valentine’s pin on pinterest (which I made with my daughter for her school pals!).I enjoy reading your different craft ideas and hearing how other moms tackle the obstacles they encounter on this journey of motherhood. My daughter is a very smart, imaginative and precocious little 3 year old. She has such a large vocabulary (which she unceasingly demonstrates) that I often forget that she is only 3! By trade I am a Middle School Spanish teacher. Our schedules are hectic, but I love both of my jobs very much. As difficult as my teenage students can be, being a mom is the hardest job I’ve ever had in my life. I feel blessed and lucky to say that being a teacher and being a mother both keep me true to who I am, who I aspire to be. They keep me grounded, honest, and real…and I hope that’s someone my daughter can one day say she is proud of!
Thank you for sharing your stories and ideas!
Hi! It’s great to finally meet everyone… like many I was looking for Tangled crafts and voila! There you were, and I have been reading ever since.
I am a bit of an outlier here. I am a grandmother, my one and only daughter has blessed me with 4 beautiful grandkids. I am so fortunate because I live about 11 minutes from their house and I get to see them nearly every day. We have sleepovers and craft days and lots of fun. The twins are 7, and a boy and a girl, and then another girl who is 5 1/2, and a wee little girl who is 16 months. I work full time, so I am very very busy. Oh, and we live near Cincinnati, Ohio.
I am a working mother of 4. My oldest, a boy, is 12. Then another boy, age 9. I finished up with twins, one boy and one girl, and they are 7.
I love the ideas and clever crafts and decorations. You gals are super ingenious!!! I am related to BettiJo (cousin’s through marriage), and that is how I found out about your blog. However, I have told a ton of friends to look you up and follow your stuff!!!
FYI~I totally have a crown that I wear. My hubby bought it one year when we were in Disneyland over Mothers Day (sans kids). My boys called me Princess Mommy. I need to break it out more often, like when I am cleaning toilets…my boys would love that!!! I am still aspiring to become a full-fledged “supermom”, but I think I’m doing OK!!!
You keep creating and posting, I’ll keep following and copying…and passing on your site to more friends!!!
Laura
Hi!
It’s taken me a couple of days to come over and comment, but I wanted to share too. I found your blog after seeing you on Martha last year. (I’m still so excited for you.) I’m a wife, former first grade teacher, and new-ish “supermom.
(My daughter is 20 months old.) I LOVE all your creative ideas, especially the parties! I’m going to try making some circle garlands for my mother-in-laws upcoming 60th birthday party-it’s a 50’s diner theme! I also write a little blog called Nesting in New Jersey. I’ve linked to you before and even got a little shot-out, which TOTALLY made my day! Thanks for all the great ideas!
Aleah
Hi Aleah!
Thanks for stopping by to introduce yourself! Oh, yes, we love the circle garland, too! It’s such a simple way to make a big impact–sounds perfect for your 50’s theme. By the way, I love your daughter’s mini donut Valentines! Super cute!
–Aimee
how many kids do you have? 4
how did you find our blog? I don’t remember now (short term memory loss is in full swing with 4 under 9 yrs old), but I’m so glad I did
What do you want to see more of on our blog? Anything that suits you but my crew and I really enjoy your lunch box jokes
What’s your favorite food? Hmm…craving spinach/artichoke dip right at the moment…time for lunch I guess.
Color?? Purple
What’s your weather like today? Windy, sunny, cold
Do you wear a cape? Yes. But then I give it back to my kids and put on my red poncho instead so I channel my inner Red Riding Hood
Hi Scribbler!
I just clicked over to check out your blog–I absolutely LOVE that your kids are in Irish Dancing. My Mom loves all things Irish, Celtic… whatever! In fact, she has casually suggested many times that I enroll my boys in some Irish dancing lessons… While I haven’t ruled them out, I think our extracurricular activities are currently maxed out! (Although I would love my boys to learn to play the bagpipes when they’re older!) Anyway… So glad to hear that you like the lunchbox jokes! Be on the lookout, as our St. Patrick’s Day jokes should be posting soon!
–Aimee
I have two kids, one is 2 and one is 1. I found your blog by looking for a Tangled theme birthday party. Thanks so much for all of the ideas! My baby just turned one this year and we did the Tangled theme for her. I have done a themed birthday each year for my 2 year old, we did Toy Story one year and Cars the next, so I was super excited to do a Tangled one.
Iv’e been trying to find crafty stuff to do with my 2 year old since he is getting SO bored of being inside for the winter…..but its hard to find or come up with. His attention span is not very long with coloring, so Iv’e got to figure out something to do with him while we are stuck in-doors.
Anyway, LIKE your crafts and your blog and ideas! Thanks!!
Hi Cassie: After two boy parties, I can totally understand your excitement to plan a girlie one! We’re so glad our Tangled posts helped you! My boys don’t have attention spans for many crafts either, so we sure spend a lot of time having light saber battles, attaching monsters, baking cookies and jumping on pillows to stay off our lava-filled carpet! Thanks for introducing yourself!
–Aimee
Hi Lacey! I totally understand about accepting job opportunities in new states–that’s how we ended up in Phoenix! It was VERY rough the first few years here–but now I love it! I, too, don’t mind the heat. The only time I miss home (Washington state) is in the fall and Christmas time (when I really want snow). Looking forward to having you back in Arizona–but in the meantime, enjoy and make the best of Texas!
–Aimee
Hi LP!
I do know your name from comments, and it’s so nice to “meet you” now! We’re glad to know you like the printables–we have lots more planned, so keep coming back! ;) As for the recipes, over the last year or so I have gone through this “be healthier” kick… I’m in a pretty good routine, and I do have lots of family friendly simple HEALTHY dinner recipes I can share… Thanks for letting us know you’d like us to post about them. Watch for some soon!

Another hello from a northern California gal …
I have two boys – 4 & 3 – and work part time as a structural engineer. I cannot remember if I first found your blog through Valentine’s projects last year or because of someone’s link to Bettijo’s family photo shoot (in black, white, and yellow) – but I love it! One of my favorite things is throwing parties and I’m so inspired by your ideas, photos, and ‘joie de vivre’!
My boys got capes (pipandbean via etsy) last summer as a birthday present and enjoy tearing through the house flapping; I’ll admit I’d like one too but I think I’ll stick to Edna’s style advice on the Incredibles, “No Capes!”
Hi,
I’m from Estonia (Europe). I have 6 years old girl and I found this blog for the first time searching for Tangled party ideas. We had really great party. THANK YOU!
Thank you for stopping by! We’re so glad our blog to help plan your daughter’s party. Nice to meet you!
Hi, Aimee. And Bettijo. I came upon your blog last year when I was planning my daughter’s 5th birthday, which was to be a Rapunzel extravaganza. Because Tangled was still newly out, there were not a lot of ideas out there. Your blog was a HUGE help! I’ve been a faithful reader ever since. I love your creativity. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas, links, and thoughts.
Kelly

Hi-
I’m a little late in commenting, but that’s how it goes around here sometimes!
I am best friends with Aimée’s m-i-l, Katye, and she told me about the blog. I have grandchildren running around here from time to time and love the printable workbook pages you put together from time to time!
Hi there, thank GOD I found your website – it’s brilliant! I am having a Tangled birthday party for my daughter next Sunday and have been trawling the net for inspiration.
I am writing all the way from England, a town very close to London called Reading. I am a stay at home Mummy to my only child, Ava who is about to turn 4. I really pride myself on throwing everything I have into raising her well, and some of your resources are going to come in very handy so thank you! Good luck with your future endeavours, and I look forward to reading lots more on here!
I’m 32 yrs old and own Spices Mediterranean Kitchen 5yrs in June (www.spicesmk.com) in Chandler AZ. I grow up in AZ my whole life and have been married to my husband for 12 yrs and have a 4 yr old son. While my husband runs our restaurant I work full time at Dani’s Agency a legit SAG talent agency in Arizona. I’d love to give advice to anyone looking into getting into acting/modeling. I see so many moms get ripped off so please contact me if you’d like to work together in some way. Our restaurant is closed on Sunday’s so if you ever need a location for an event this could be an option. My 4 yr old (1-13-08) stays with me and is so smart and I would love to share some tips as well on that. He can read and write in Hebrew and English. He can do addition and subtraction, spell words and read words, knows all the states and capitals, planets, and at least 50 countries now. I’m all about us all working together to better ourselves. :-)
Hi Aimée!
I just found your blog and I love it! Your earth globe post caught my attention.. did I see it on Crafty Crow? I surf so much, I’m not sure if that’s the path that led me to you.
I live in Canada with my husband and two girls, 4 and 1. My background is very similar to yours.. design, advertising, marketing and I too now stay home with my kids and loving it. My blog is my creative outlet: https://keepingcreativityalive.com/
I love the celebratory nature of your blog and all the fun ideas. Also loving the printables! Looking forward to following yoU!
Hello ladies! So being in scotland, id say i wasnt a ‘super mom’ but a ‘super mum’, but im pleased to join you! Last year, with all your tips and suggestions, i threw my daughter an amazing Tangled party, it was just wonderful, and the details made the day. This year, since her party is in August, i thought id try an Olympics theme. Any tips and advice on decorations and crafts greatfully accepted!! Xx
Hi! I just love your blog! I found you through Pinterest (love that place). I got married at 18 (one month shy of 19) and had a beautiful baby boy 10 months later. He is now 4 months old! That is the only child I have at this time, but I’m trying to hit the double digits. Since I’m only 20, I’m hoping have 15 more, if God wills it. My husband is the most amazing person in the world and I love my family to death! I have recently started making all natural cleaning products. Me and my mother are in the process of testing them out and comparing them to regular cleaners. They are doing great though and I hope to start selling them soon. Do you have any tips for that?
Hi, my name is Lynne. I live in Australia. I have 7 grandchildren aged 9 months to 8 years. I love crafting with and am always on the lookout for educational items.Your blog is great. I found you on Tip Junkie. Thankyou so very much for the items that you share. Hugs Lynne from OZ
Hi my name is Melissa. I have 2 beautiful daughters,
one who just turned 7 yesterday and the other who
will be turning 2 in April. I just love your ideas and will
like to know if you can give any cute ideas for a lalaloopsy
party? I would greatly appreciate it :-)
Hi, could I use your “An Elephant Never Forgets” card template?
Thanks!
Bettijo,
I met your mom and dad this week. Your mom told me about your site. She said it was great and she was right! I am so glad she turned me on to it.
Rebecca
Hi Aimee and Bettijo!
I actually did a bit a clicking to find your page, thanks to Google and SEO :) because I saw coverage of Bettijo’s gender reveal party when she found out she was expecting her third girl. I’m working on a blog about resourceful gender reveal options in support of my boy-to-girl reversible clothing line called Turnovers. Glad I found your website!! A bit about me, I’m a mom of a 4yr boy and a 2yr boy, and I’m online working on my business while they sleep each night. It’s great to read about the other moms on this thread, and I’m happy to be part of the mom blogger community. I just recently started, and I created a wordpress account just last night!! Hope to be in touch with you ladies. :)
