Oh Boy! Printables

Oh Boy Baby Shower Invitation Printable

Last week we showed you the details and recipes from the Oh Boy! baby shower my friend Ashley and I hosted. Since the Oh Boy! theme can be used for any baby boy, we thought we would share the printables we made with you.

Although the banner shape looks fancy, it took just moments to cut out and assemble. It’s easiest to cut with small, sharp scissors. These are my current go-to scissors for detailed cuts. Of course, a craft knife and cutting mat would also be a quick and easy solution. Download our free printable Oh Boy! Banner here.

I especially liked using our blank Oh Boy! Labels on the invitation envelopes. These can be printed on full-sheet sticker paper then cut to size to become address or jar labels. Print onto cardstock to create hanging tags, food labels and more.

The 5”x7” Oh Boy! printable is perfect for invitations, menus and gift records. You’ll notice the printable is set up to print two 5”x7” templates per sheet.

If you’re not familiar with graphic design software, here is a SIMPLE solution for just about any computer program.

:: Print the templates.
:: Set up a new document with landscape (8.5” high by 11” wide) orientation in a program you are familiar with: Word, Power Point, Publisher or just about any other program.
:: Type in your text (invitation wording, menu description, etc.), and center it. Copy and paste your formatted text again so you have two sets of the same information.
:: Format your document to have two identical columns. Increase your top margin (or make several hard returns by pressing enter) to start your text below the Oh Boy! image. (You’ll need at least 3” clearance from the top of your document. Be careful not to type so much that you’ll exceed 4-5” allotted for text to fit on template.)
:: Print your formatted text on your pre-printed templates. As long as everything is centered in your two columns, your document will line up perfectly with the printable every time!

  1. Does anyone know what font was used for the banner? It would help me so much if someone could tell me! I want to make a matching banner for the gift table and candy bar.
