As much as I love creating or designing something awesome for my family, nothing makes me feel more like a Supermom than spending quality time with my boys. So when Kirsten (You probably know her as one of the mighty Crafting Chicks!) contacted me about her new app, Kid Chatteroo, an app she designed to create and capture sweet moments with family, I was immediately intrigued. And when we tested it, I was immediately in LOVE.
Kid Chatteroo has been guiding us through the silliest conversations. For example: Chatteroo asks: “If you lived in Candyland, what would you build your house out of?” (Please note that at this point, my son Harrison, 4, is already laughing and licking his lips at just the idea of living in Candyland.) Liam enthusiastically replies “Oreos and frosting! … Wait! That wouldn’t be very strong, would it, Mom? Oh it’s okay, it’d taste good. This is just pretend!”
(Yes, Liam is way too logical for a six-year-old boy!)
I also love the RECORDING feature. I never want to forget my boys’ little voices and their annunciation of certain words. To have the recording feature built in, I know we’ll be capturing their adorable answers — complete with a day and time stamp.
What I love most about this app is that it has turned our down time into playful conversation. My boys love burying their heads into their iPods and playing Ninjago. HOWEVER, since installing the Kid Chatteroo app, they’re begging to play with their iPods so we can talk about silly things!!
Just last night when we were playing before bed, we were asked: “What makes your Mom so super?” (Perfect question to feed my ego, right?) Liam replied with the biggest smile ever: “Because nobody can love me as much as you do, right Mom?!?”
I just have to say downloading Kid Chatteroo for only 99 cents is definitely my latest Supermom Moment!
