Thankful for Everything Printable Decor

Thanksgiving-Dinner-Decor

Hosting Thanksgiving can be so much fun — a feast with family and friends that ends with pie — what could be better? We’ve put together some free printables to help make your Thanksgiving dinner feel extra fancy. Even if you’re planning a simple pot-luck style gathering, these plum and ivory printables with DIY gold touches are sure to make your spread pinterest worthy!

To begin, we printed everything on cream card stock for a warm, cozy feel. If you prefer things a little more crisp, use white cardstock.

For the INVITATION, download and print the file. The bottom portion of the invitation is left blank for you to personalize with your dinner plans — either handwrite or format in your preferred software program. (Yes, Word will work! See how-to here.)

Add touches of gold confetti to your invitations and envelopes by using a standard pencil-end eraser as a stamp with metallic gold paint (from the craft store). For near-perfect rounds of confetti, stamp on scrap paper a couple times before stamping onto your printables — this will help to distribute the paint evenly.

Further embellish your invitations with our printable charms — cut out the purple strips and thankful circles then attach to the invite card with a large, gold paperclip.

Use our MINI FOOD SIGNS for labeling dinner favorites and dessert. To dress them up, we taped the cards to bamboo skewers embellished with washi-tape flags. A simpler solution: place cut cards into sign holders.

Adorable Pear Placecards

Make each guest feel welcome with a PLACE CARD. We used boutonniere pins (found in the wedding aisle of most craft stores) to attach our printable placecards to pears.

Pear-Placecards

Accentuate the green pears by placing them atop embellished gold confetti plum paper napkins. We used our same DIY Gold Confetti technique on our plum paper napkins as we did the invitations.

Add CONFETTI for a splash of color to your table. We used 1 and a 1.5″ standard circle punches on our coordinating confetti paper — there are the solid-colored full sheets in the PDF template file that you can just print and punch out for perfectly coordinated confetti! Add extra glitz with some sparkly leaf confetti. We used our Cricut to cut 2-inch leaves from gold American Crafts gold glitter paper.

DIY Table Confetti for Thanksgiving

For the children’s table (or the kid at heart), our CONFETTI PLACEMATS provide space to write each child’s name or for doodling while waiting for the feast to begin.

Bettijo and I couldn’t decide which THANKFUL BANNER we liked better, so we layered them together and concluded we loved them both. But actually, I had designed THREE banners (We really like banners, and we each wanted a different color for our home…), so we’re giving you three versions you can pick from–all in download links below.
