Today I’m sharing a fun Halloween neighbor gift idea. Every year my husband and I do a big All Hallow’s Eve dinner. It has become an elaborate party, and it is a lot of fun. Each year we pick a theme, and one of my favorites was a Woodland Witch theme we did a few years ago. Go see the pics, and you’ll see that they clearly inspired these Halloween Spice Jar labels. I wanted the spices to look like potion ingredients in a witch’s cupboard. At the end of this post you can download the free printable labels for Garlic and Italian herbs from “Salem Supply Co.”
They probably won’t need the garlic to ward of vampires — but then you never know. This unexpected and useful Halloween neighbor gift, is incredibly easy to make, and so fun to give.
How to Make Spice Jar Halloween Neighbor Gifts
I bought granulated garlic and an Italian blend in the bulk at my local grocery store. I have seen bulk spice sections like these at Whole Foods too. You could also pickup a large container of the spices at Costco. These French square spice jars that I found on Amazon are perfect since they come with a little sifter-cap insert. I used a large funnel to help with filling the jars.
Print the Halloween Spice Jar Label template (download at the end of this post) on full-sheet sticker paper. Cut out each label and adhere to the spice jars you’ve filled.
