How to Catch a Leprechaun

I’m not sure exactly how it started, but my boys (and now Bettijo’s girls too) spend the month of March trying to figure out how to catch a Leprechaun. Each year as they prepare their Leprechaun Traps it’s serious business. I can almost see the wheels churning in the minds of my little engineers — such an imaginative project that I’m certainly happy to encourage.

For this month’s craft in Raising Arizona Kids magazine, we shared Liam’s trap idea from last year. Unfortunately the Leprechaun escaped, but Liam is in the process of perfecting his design for this year’s trap.
