Celebrating Grandparents

This year Grandparents Day is on Sunday, September 13th. (It’s always the Sunday after Labor Day.) I know with Back to School season and Labor Day celebrations, preparing for another holiday sometimes seems overwhelming. Yet I love the concept of and purpose behind Grandparents Day. I love that it gives my family an excuse to express our love. While we don’t necessarily need a day set aside to do that, having the holiday helps me intentionally recognize and honor our Grandparents. (After all, our Grandparents are the original Supermoms and Superdads, right?)

To make it easy on us to celebrate our Grandparents we’ve collected several ideas below. Many of these ideas can even be mailed if Grandma and Grandpa are living too far away to visit.
