Baby’s First Christmas Ornament + Big News

DIY First Christmas Ornament Mitten Handprint #christmas #handprint #firstchristmas #baby

So friends, I have some exciting news to share! I’ve been holding out on you for a few months… perhaps you’ve been wondering why our posts have been a bit thin? The explanation is quite simple: I just can’t stay awake past 9 o’clock, which for a girl who’s usual bedtime is sometime after midnight, that can only mean one thing: I’M PREGNANT!

Baby No. 4 will be arriving at our house this Spring. We don’t know whether it’s a boy or girl yet, but we’re planning a fun gender reveal party for our family and friends later this month. I suggest you follow on Instagram if you want to be among the first to know!

So that explains why when I saw the ADORABLE tutorial shown above for making mitten handprint ornaments, I just had to pin them. How darling would these be for my new baby’s first Christmas next year?

Baby Modette isn’t really much of a baby anymore and will actually be a big two year old before this new bundle arrives. Since I now have three girls everyone is sure I’m hoping for a boy, but I’m honestly on the fence — at least with girls I kind of know what I’m doing. I can’t wait to find out what it will be!
