‘Tis the season to get slimed! We love a little Mad Lab fun around Halloween, and what better thing to whip up with your sinister scientists than gloppy, green slime?
We have seen lots of slime recipes on Pinterest, and they are all pretty much the same using dried Borax granules as the key ingredient. These recipes aren’t super difficult, but when we’ve tried them out, the mixing process is a little more time consuming than we’d like — especially with excited kiddos screaming for slime. This simpler Slime Recipe uses liquid starch instead (which is also cheaper — yay!), and with just four simple ingredients it’s fantastically easy. Make it with your kids and you’ve got a total #SupermomMoment!
Liquid starch is available at most grocery stores near the laundry and ironing supplies, and we used the Sta-Flo brand.
We shared this fabulously simple slime recipe in this month’s issue of Raising Arizona Kids magazine. Go check it out.
