This Rock Star Baby Shower is one of my favorite parties we have ever created — there are so many thoughtful elements and details to wow your guests. The best part though is that with these fabulous printables you will totally look like hostess of the year without much of your own effort — now that’s totally going to be a #SupermomMoment.
This Rock Star Baby Shower printable pack includes 45 pages of templates and instructions for throwing the coolest Rock & Roll themed baby shower ever! These photos show a baby shower for a boy, but my pack includes templates in green, blue and fuchsia so you can throw this party for a baby boy, girl or even if the gender is still a surprise!
My Rock Star Baby Shower packet includes instructions with every printable, including how to add your own printed invitation wording so you don’t have to do it by hand. This will give your party a truly custom feel, and save you lots of time. This baby shower is definitely gender neutral, and don’t worry I included Boy and Girl versions of the invitation and other prints for you.
These paper plate records make me squeal — I mean seriously SO cute, and did you read the labels? They’re super funny. A $2 pack of black paper plates never looked so good! We envision making a couple sets of these faux records to tape up on the wall behind the food table. Also they would make a really fun photo backdrop for guests. Afterall a photo booth is kind of a must for a rock & roll themed party, right?
The Rock-a-Bye Banner comes with SIX different decorative pennants so you can mix and match. This also comes in handy if you want to make a couple banners that coordinate but aren’t exact copies. The one detail you won’t want to forget — stringing the banner on metal chain. We used black chain found at Hobby Lobby. Look for chain in the trim section of a craft store and at the hardware store. You could also use ribbon or twine.
We created printable food tags, cupcake toppers, party flags, frameable prints and more. For anything else you may want, we included full-sheet pattern paper as well as full-sheet colored paper so you’d have an exact match without hunting all over. Use this paper to make coordinating water-bottle wraps or festive liners for your cake stands or platters, etc.
Print a couple copies of this gift list and set it out with a clipboard and pens. Ask one of the Rock Star Mama’s close friends to help her take notes of the gifts she’s received. These coordinated sheets are fun to slip into baby’s scrapbook and make writing thank you notes a breeze. Plus they totally make you look like a super-thoughtful hostess.
We’ve included numbers and a guessing sheet that you can use to play a bunch of various guessing games. Here are two ideas to get you started: (1) We hid a bunch of baby items inside numbered bags and had party-goers try to guess by simply feeling through the bag what the item might be. (2) We also loved the idea of framing pictures of rock bands or rock trivia questions and then quizzing the guests. You could totally do both!
You can also have guests participate in a group craft project. We include templates to make month-by-month onesies for Mom to take a photo of baby in each month during the first year — a fun way for to capture baby’s growth.
I think you’ll agree that I’ve included more than enough for you to make an awesome Rock Star Baby Shower! You can get the printable pack over in the Supermom Co-op.
