I just saw the most adorable and family-friendly deck makeover over on Emily Henderson’s blog. I’ve been following Emily since she was competing on Design Star, and I just love her. I like to think if we met in real life we’d totally be friends. Actually we did meet once in the hallways at ALT Summit, and I got to talk to her for about 30 seconds… we’re not BFFs yet, but you gotta start somewhere, right?
I really love her fresh take on decorating and how achievable her ideas are. Sure it’s nice to dream about gorgeous spaces that cost loads of money, but it’s really amazing when you can create something super-cool on a budget. Emily is also so good about sharing her sources, so if you have a few minutes head over to Emily’s blog to see the full details on this deck makeover, I’ve already jotted down a few ideas I’m hoping to use at my house.
