Teacher gifts can be surprisingly tricky—you don’t always know their personal style, and there are only so many mugs and apple-themed trinkets one person can handle (although, let’s be real, there is one kind of apple a teacher can never get enough of). So instead of guessing, why not go with something just about everyone appreciates? Enter: the scented candle. It’s simple, thoughtful, and perfect for winding down after a long day of wrangling tiny humans.
Today I’m sharing a darling “SHINE” candle wrap gift tag that adds the perfect finishing touch and takes your gift that extra mile.

I designed these cute gift labels to wrap around the 3-wick candles from Bath & Body Works. I like their candles because they have a good throw. Plus if you watch, you can typically find good sales, and that’s when I stock up. Also I think Walmart and Target sell candles that are in those same size jars. These wraps are actually pretty versatile and should fit almost any large jar candle.
Of course an apple scented candle would be an obvious choice for a teacher gift, but I opted for a some summery scents.

I created two different versions of these candle wraps. The first one has more of a group sentiment saying, “Thanks for Helping Us Shine.” This is perfect if you’re the homeroom mom or maybe for a coach on a team! Get the download of this free printable candle wrap template.
If you want a more personalized gift, I also have an editable version that says, “Thanks for Helping Me Shine.” These candle gift tags are available in the Supermom Co-op. After purchasing the instant download, you can type your child’s name into the file in Adobe Reader, then print as many as you need. I definitely recommend this route for a child who has multiple teachers to save you time!
The files are setup so that three labels print per page. If you’ve got more than one child, it’s a cinch to make a bunch. Also when making your teacher appreciation gifts, don’t forget about coaches and piano, dance, or music teachers.

A DESIGNER TIP FOR A POLISHED LOOK
The secret to making your labels look polished is double-sided tape. Put a piece along each of the short edges to invisibly attach the wrap labels. I placed the “Shine” wrap on the side opposite of the actual label, so teacher can still see the scent of the candle.
