Favorite 2011 Calendars

I’ve been doing a little calendar shopping this week, and have come across a few gems. Since I’m a paper fanatic, I’m partial to the highly-textured letterpress options out there. If you love letterpress too, get ready to start drooling…

Our Favorite Calendars 2011

1. Parrot Design Studio Letterpress At-A-Glance Calendar. Sometimes it’s nice to see the whole year at once — perfect to keep by the phone or on an office bulletin board when you need to reference dates, but don’t really need to record anything. Plus you can’t beat the price of this gorgeous letterpress goody. ($5)

2. Paper Source Letterpress Desk Calendar. The clear plexiglass case for these colorful and playful letterpress cards doubles as a display stand making it a perfect choice for your desk, and it’s totally giftable — in case you forgot anyone? ($18.50)

3. Paper Boat Studios Letterpress Calendar. An uber-simple but chic design that my hands are just dying to touch (the tactile quality is why I love letterpress so much). This calendar comes bound with perforation to tear off each month. ($35)

4. Custom Photo Calendar from Lulu.com. Feeling creative? Want something completely customized with your own pictures, dates and all? Lulu.com makes it easy breezy to create your own calendar. I made this one featuring our family photos as a Christmas gift for Superdad. At such a great price, I wasn’t quite sure what we’d be getting, but we were both impressed with the quality. ($12.50)

5. Linda & Harriet Perpetual Calendar. A perpetual calendar doesn’t have the day of the week association of typical calendars and is designed instead to help you keep track of birthday, anniversaries and other important dates year after year. Letterpress is a perfect choice for a calendar like this that is meant to last — printed on a thick cardstock and spiral bound. ($30)

6. Paper Source Booklet Calendar. It’s not letterpressed, but it the cutest option I’ve seen for a functional planning calendar to keep at home or take along with you. ($11.95)
