Family Pictures 2010

The theme for our family photos this year was fuschia, gray and shiny. The amazing Nick Sorensen was our photographer, and if you’re in the Phoenix area I highly recommend you check out his work.

Happy Family

I chose a parking structure in downtown Phoenix for the shoot. In this one we were seeing if we could get the city skyline — it was too far in the distance to really show up, but with that priceless hug Piper is giving Daddy how can I not love this photo?

Walking Family

We played a bit with some back-lit shots, and I love how you can see the arrows on the concrete in this one.

This Way

No Entry

Here is the shiny elevator I was after. I love the picture of the two girls.

Elevator Girls

I like the unique composition of this family photo. It makes me think of chess.

Family Pictures 2010

I was fairly worried that being pregnant, I wasn’t going to like myself in our family pictures, but I’m pleasantly surprised. I think I look pretty good for being 4 months along, if I may say so myself? I’m telling you — white is the color to wear in photos!

Fun Family Pictures

The Hirschis 2011

The girls both look so happy in this shot. I think it might be my favorite.

Happy Sisters

Don’t you love how Attalie has both feet off the ground here? So fun!

Playing Sisters

What do you think? Which photo is your favorite??

  1. It is not one picture that stands out to me but all the smiles on all your faces that share the story of happiness with you and your family.

  2. I love the top one. Piper’s hug is adorable and loving, and Atty’s smile is totally infectious. Of course, the girls skipping around you is great, too. I love the playful feeling of those pictures. They’re all so fun. And I love the magenta!
