Are you ready for the Fourth of July? I wouldn’t say I’m ready, I mean, we still have a few weeks, right? But I did decorate! It’s tradition in our home to get our patriotic decor up before Flag Day, and I like to leave it up until Labor Day — or until my boys insist on Back to School decor. Since Independence Day is my favorite holiday, I have to make sure I maximize the patriotic decor season. Let’s just say I’m working hard to instill patriotism in my boys!
Anyway, this year we were inspired to create patriotic decor centered on words from the song America the Beautiful. Our nautically inspired patriotic printables coordinate with our USA Banner from last year (since it’s still my favorite banner). Go check it out and get the free download at our friend Jen’s Tater Tots & Jello blog. We also share a few styling ideas — we love how simple seasonal decorating has become with printables and reusable, inexpensive white frames.
Oh, and I have to remind you of this: do you remember our easy patriotic centerpiece from a couple years ago? It takes less than 5 minutes to assemble and is the PERFECT addition to these printables.
We found these flags for roughly $1 each, so this is quite the impact for under $15. I have two of these displayed on our piano–I’m constantly finding my boys marching and parading the flags around our home. (My patriotism is rubbing off!)
Also don’t forget about our coordinating Patriotic Parade Fans to help you keep your cool this July Fourth!4
