Home Grown & Cut

Super-Tip Tuesday
Kristi H., a Supermom of one, from Glendale, AZ, said:

My 7 month old had hair hanging over his ears, and I decided it was time for a chop! I wanted to do it at home, but I’ve never had experience cutting hair with scissors, so I decided clippers would be the best bet. Dad held the little guy on his lap with a favorite toy. I turned on the clippers and let the handle buzz on his arm, so he could get used to the sensation, then went for it! The little man was engrossed with his toy, and I was able to give him a full cut. He occasionally looked up at the clippers, but was not phased at all. He also did great when I went in for touch ups a few days later.

Between the pre-cut vibrations to get him comfortable with the clippers, and me showing my excitement about his new haircut, I think he was totally okay with it!

What a brave Supermom you are Kristi — thanks for the tip!
